DEB COPE
Deb has worked in the television industry for over twenty years, starting her career at BBC Drama before returning to New Zealand to work as a Production Manager for South Pacific Pictures, Greenstone TV and Television New Zealand.
Deb began Line Producing in 2010 and worked on the award winning docu-drama Erebus - Operation Overdue for Rogue Productions before joining Great Southern Television. There she line produced/co-produced a number of tele-features and series including, The Kick, the award-winning series Hillary, the multi award-winning tele-feature The Exponents: Why Does Love?, the tele-feature Kiwi, the award-winning documentaries NZ Wars - The Stories of Ruapekapeka and NZ Wars – The Stories of Waitara, the mini-series Jonah and the popular crime series One Lane Bridge.
Her most recent Producer credits are the multi award-winning Runaway Millionaires, the CBBC children’s series Mystic and Acorn TV’s rom-com series Under The Vines starring Rebecca Gibney and Charles Edwards.
In 2018 Deb created Runaway Millionaires the first project to be produced by Fearless Productions, the company Deb set up with prolific Producer Carmen Leonard. Now focusing on Fearless content, Deb and Carmen love nothing more than creating and producing inspiring and engaging stories from start to finish.
CARMEN J LEONARD

Carmen has had a long career producing television drama from long form series to international award winning television films. She enjoys bringing together and managing teams of creative people and working with them to create enthralling entertainment. Carmen has a drive and commitment that keeps a project on time, on budget and on vision. She is also committed to upskilling and mentoring new and emerging talent on all of her productions, with a particular focus on women, Māori & Pasifika.
She has produced hundreds of hours of prime time television including six series of the multi award winning drama comedy series Outrageous Fortune, the six-part series Hillary, the mini-series Jonah and has also produced several multi award winning television films including What Really Happened: Votes for Women, Erebus Operation Overdue, The Kick, The Exponents: Why Does Love? Kiwi, and Runaway Millionaires.

After many years of producing award-winning projects for other companies, Carmen is now focussing entirely on Fearless Productions content with Deb. Their complementary skills allow for a creative, thoughtful and rigorous process from development to production. Their slate is full of stories that are engaging and inspirational to ensure delivery of high-quality projects for both local and international audiences.
